Yahoo accounts give you access to various services, such as email, calendar, and contacts. Check out how to create your Yahoo account if you’d like to get started.
You’ll need a mobile phone equipped with text messaging capability and an active internet connection to register on Yahoo. As well as your first name, last name, and date of birth, you will need to enter some identifying information.
Make a New Yahoo Email Account
Open your web browser and visit the Yahoo website to set up your account.
You will be able to sign in and create a new account by clicking the Sign In link in Yahoo’s top-right corner.
You can create an account under the login form on the sign-in page that appears.
Click on “Sign Up” to do so. Fill out the following information to create your Yahoo account:
First Name: Enter your first name here.
Last Name: Type your last name here.
Email Address: Enter the email address you wish to create here. You will receive an email address similar to “mahesh@yahoo.com” if you type “Mahesh”.
Password: Enter the password you want to use for your new Yahoo account.
Mobile Phone Number: Select your country code and enter your mobile phone number. You will receive a verification code on this number, so make sure it is working.
Birth Month, Day, Year: Enter your birthday details.
Gender: Optionally, enter your gender.
Ensure that your password is strong. You will then need to click “Continue” at the bottom of the form.
The next page will ask you to verify your phone number. You will need to verify that your entered phone number is correct before clicking the “Text Me a Verification Code” button.
A verification code has been sent to your phone. Find the Yahoo message in your phone’s messages folder and note the code.
Enter the verification code on the Yahoo site and click “Verify.”
Your Yahoo account will be created successfully when you see the “Welcome to Yahoo” message. By clicking “Done”, you will be taken to Yahoo’s homepage.
Congratulations! You now have a Yahoo account. Yahoo’s email service is accessible by clicking “Mail” in the top-right corner of its homepage.
